Build a broker stack from clear system boundaries
A brokerage technology stack can include a trading platform, connectivity components, CRM, client portal, reporting and supporting services. The infrastructure plan should show how these systems interact and who is responsible for each part.
Start with the operating model and the software agreements already in place. Hosting is one component of a launch; platform access, liquidity arrangements, payment services and business requirements need their own scope and appropriate providers.
Separate critical services and integration risks
Map data flows and administrative permissions before distributing applications across virtual or dedicated resources. Customer-facing tools, internal administration and trading components may need different access controls and maintenance windows.
External interfaces should have a named owner, supported authentication method and acceptance test. For platform-specific hosting, review MT4 infrastructure and MT5 infrastructure. For larger compute requirements, consider the dedicated server planning guide.
Prepare operations before the first production migration
Agree monitoring, backups, restore tests and an incident escalation process. Define how configuration changes are reviewed and how credentials are handled. These controls help the team understand failures that involve several suppliers rather than a single server.
The launch plan should include connectivity checks, integration verification, a cutover window and rollback criteria. Where platform branding or access is required, include a separate MetaTrader White Label workstream; infrastructure alone does not grant those rights.
What to include in your request
- Business operating model and the software already selected.
- Platform rights, counterparties and a complete integration inventory.
- Expected workload, data retention and recovery objectives.
- Supplier responsibilities, access model and launch acceptance criteria.
Questions about Forex Broker Infrastructure and MetaTrader Hosting
Can the project include an existing CRM or portal?
Existing systems can be assessed if their interfaces, deployment requirements and access rights are available. Compatibility and the integration scope must be confirmed for each product.
Does hosting include liquidity, payments and regulatory permissions?
These are separate commercial or operational arrangements. The infrastructure proposal should explicitly identify included services and the responsibilities of each supplier.
Should all broker systems run on one server?
That depends on resource needs, security boundaries and the consequences of a shared failure or maintenance event. A topology review is more useful than a universal one-server rule.
